Jean-Michel Menard (Gatineau/Levis, QC) won 7-5 over Howard Rajala (Ottawa, ON) in the Final of the Mac Ice Classic, held October 5 - 10, 2011 in Ottawa, Ontario. To advance to the championship game, Menard won 7-6 over Ian MacAulay (Ottawa, ON) in the semifinals of the 2011 Mac Ice Classic in Ottawa, Ontario; and won 6-3 over Bryan Cochrane (Ottawa, ON) in the quarterfinals. of the 2011 Mac Ice Classic in Ottawa, Ontario;
 
Menard finished 3-0 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Menard defeated Jasmin Gibeau (Montreal, QC) 7-0, then won 6-4 against Bowie Abbis-Mills (Waterloo, ON) and 5-4 against Matt Dumontelle (Sudbury, NONT) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Mac Ice Classic Championship title, Menard earned 10.000 world rankings points along with the $7,000CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 16th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 88.036 total points. Menard ranks 41st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 10.000 points earned so far this season.
