Sarah Koltun (Whitehorse, YK) lost 6-5 to Taylore Theroux (Edmonton, AB) in the Final of the Gibbons Bonspiel, held November 11 - 13, 2011 in Gibbons, Alberta. To advance to the championship game, Koltun won 10-1 over Kelsey Rocque (Edmonton, AB) in the semifinals of the 2011 Gibbons Bonspiel in Gibbons, Alberta;
 
Koltun finished 2-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Koltun defeated Leigh Melligan (Gibbons, AB) 8-1, then won 8-3 against Kristen Huber (Beaumont, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
