Edin finished 3-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Edin defeated Germany's Christopher Bartsch 6-1, then went on to lose 7-3 against David Edwards (Aberdeen, SCO). Edin responded with a 5-2 win over Finland's Kalle Kiiskinen. Edin won 9-2 against Norway's Thomas Lovold in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Radisson Blu Oslo Cup Championship title, Edin earned 14.100 world rankings points along with the $10,586CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 6th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 154.182 total points.
