9-2 to Alberta's Cathy King, droppimg another game, 6-2 to Quebec's Diane Grafton. Cusick lost 9-3 to Brenda Forner (Richardson, SK). Cusick lost 10-2 to British Columbia's Donna Robertson. Cusick lost 8-5 to New Brunswick's Denise Lavigne. Cusick lost 8-6 to Nova Scotia's Colleen Jones. Cusick lost 11-1 to Manitoba's Patti Vanderkerckhove where Cusick responded with a 10-6 win over Prince Edward Island's Joanne MacMillan. Cusick won 7-6 against Deborah Brown (Islington, ON). Cusick went on to lose 12-5 against Newfoundland / Labrador's Laura Phillips in their final qualifying round match.
