Brenda Forner (Richardson, SK) finished 7-3 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Forner defeated
New Brunswick's Denise Lavigne 12-4, then won 11-3 against Prince Edward Island's Joanne MacMillan. Forner went on to lose 8-4 against Deborah Brown (Islington, ON). Forner responded with a 9-3 win over Sandra Cusick (Dawson City, Y/NWT). Forner won 9-8 against Newfoundland / Labrador's Laura Phillips. Forner went on to lose 7-4 against Alberta's Cathy King. Forner lost 7-2 to Quebec's Diane Grafton where Forner responded with a 7-6 win over Nova Scotia's Colleen Jones. Forner won 4-2 against Manitoba's Patti Vanderkerckhove, then won 8-6 against British Columbia's Donna Robertson in their final qualifying round match.
 
. For week of the event schedule, Forner did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Forner ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
