Lisa DeRiviere (Winnipeg, MB) lost 4-2 to Barb Spencer (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the DEKALB Superspiel, held November 24 - 27, 2011 at the Morris Curling Club in Morris, Canada. To advance to the championship game, DeRiviere won 7-4 over Jill Thurston (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals   of the 2011 DEKALB Superspiel in Morris, Manitoba, Canada; and won 6-5 over Janet Harvey (Winnipeg, MB) in the quarterfinals.  
 
DeRiviere finished 3-2 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, DeRiviere defeated Darcy Robertson (Winnipeg, MB) 7-3, then went on to lose 7-2 against Cathy Overton-Clapham (Winnipeg, MB). DeRiviere lost 10-1 to Thurston where DeRiviere responded with a 6-3 win over Terry Ursel (Plumas, MB). DeRiviere won 5-4 against Erika Sigurdson (Stonewall, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the DEKALB Superspiel, DeRiviere take home 7.650 world rankings points along with the $4,800CDN prize, moving up 99 spots the World Ranking Standings into 98th place overall with 9.171 total points. DeRiviere ranks 57th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 7.650 points earned so far this season.
