To advance to the championship game, Spencer won 6-3 over Cathy Overton-Clapham (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals of the 2011 DEKALB Superspiel in Morris, Manitoba, Canada; and won 5-3 over Kim Link (East St. Paul, MB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2011 DEKALB Superspiel in Morris, Manitoba, Canada;
Spencer finished 3-0 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Spencer defeated Terry Ursel (Plumas, MB) 9-4, then won 7-0 against Michelle Montford (Winnipeg, MB) and 7-1 against Chelsea Carey (Morden, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the DEKALB Superspiel Championship title, Spencer earned 10.200 world rankings points along with the $8,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 10 spots the World Ranking Standings into 35th place overall with 43.098 total points. Spencer ranks 29th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 22.281 points earned so far this season.
