Krista McCarville (Thunder Bay, ON) lost 7-0 to Becca Hamilton (Madison, WI) in the Final of the Molson Cash Spiel, held November 25 - 27, 2011 at the Duluth Curling Club in Duluth, United States. To advance to the championship game, McCarville won 7-3 over Minnesota's Cassie Potter in the semifinals
 
McCarville finished 5-0 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McCarville defeated Miranda Solem (Grand Rapids, MN) 7-2, then won 9-4 against Minnesota's Maureen Stolt and 4-3 against Katie Spencer (Winnipeg, MB). McCarville won 7-4 against Liane Fossum (Thunder Bay, ON), then won 5-1 against Minnesota's Cassie Potter in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Molson Cash Spiel, McCarville take home 1.750 world rankings points along with the $1,866CDN prize, remaining in 19th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 95.800 total points. McCarville ranks 18th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 38.750 points earned so far this season.
