To advance to the championship game, Webster won 7-1 over Bingyu Wang (Harbin, CHN) in the semifinals of the 2011 MNP Charity Classic in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada; and won 6-4 over Jill Thurston (Winnipeg, MB) in the quarterfinals.

Webster finished 4-0 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Webster defeated Holly Whyte (Edmonton, AB) 6-3, then won 8-4 against Olga Zyablikova (Moscow, RUS) and 6-5 against Robyn Silvernagle (Meadow Lake, SK). Webster won 5-4 against Korea's Ji-Sun Kim in their final qualifying round match.
