Robert Schlender (Edmonton, AB) qualified for the 2011 Cactus Pheasant Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 5-4 against Randy Ferbey (Edmonton, AB). of the 2011 Cactus Pheasant Classic in Brooks, Alberta;

Schlender finished 3-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Schlender defeated Claudio Pescia (St. Gallen, SUI) 8-5, then won 6-3 against Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE). Schlender went on to lose 7-0 against Mike McEwen (Winnipeg, MB). Schlender responded with a 7-2 win over Steve Petryk (Calgary, YK) in their final qualifying round match.
