Joyce won 6-2 against Rui Liu (Harbin, CHN) in their final qualifying round match.

Joyce earned 1.575 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Horizon Laser Vision Center Classic, moving up 20 spots the World Ranking Standings into 122nd place overall with 7.704 total points. Joyce ranks 85th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 1.575 points earned so far this season.
