Brent Goeres (Regina, SK) qualified for the 2011 Horizon Laser Vision Center Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-1 against Al Schick (Regina, SK). of the 2011 Horizon Laser Vision Center Classic in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada;

Goeres finished 3-2 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Goeres defeated Mark Herbert (Moose Jaw, SK) 4-2, then went on to lose 5-1 against Scott Bitz (Regina, SK). Goeres lost 5-3 to Saskatchewan's Braeden Moskowy where Goeres responded with a 5-4 win over Garret Vey (Regina, SK). Goeres won 7-6 against Saskatchewan's Brad Law in their final qualifying round match.

Goeres earned 1.575 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Horizon Laser Vision Center Classic. For week 7 of the event schedule, Goeres did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Goeres ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
