Rui Liu (Beijing, CHN) won 9-3 over Mike Farbelow (Minneapolis, MN) in the Final of the Green Bay Cash Spiel, held September 23 - 25, 2011 at the Green Bay Curling Club in Green Bay, United States. To advance to the championship game, Liu won 7-3 over Minnesota's Todd Birr in the semifinals of the 2011 Green Bay Cash Spiel in Green Bay, Wisconsin, United States; and won 9-2 over Eric Fenson (Bemidji, MN) in the quarterfinals. of the 2011 Green Bay Cash Spiel in Green Bay, Wisconsin, United States;

Liu finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Liu defeated Becca Hamilton (Madison, WI) 9-2, then won 7-2 against Paul Pustovar (Duluth, MN) and 6-1 against Farbelow in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Green Bay Cash Spiel Championship title, Liu earned 3.000 world rankings points along with the $2,800CDN first prize cheque, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 48th place overall with 31.866 total points. Liu ranks 55th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 3.000 points earned so far this season.
