Janet McGhee (Uxbridge, ON) won 7-5 over Tracy Horgan (Sudbury, ON) in the Final of the Guelph Womens Cashspiel, held November 11 - 13, 2011 at the Guelph Curling Club in Guelph, Canada. To advance to the championship game, McGhee won 9-1 over Kristy Russell (Shelburne, ON) in the semifinals of the 2011 Guelph Womens Cashspiel in Guelph, Ontario, Canada; and won 6-4 over Chrissy Cadorin (Hamilton, ON) in the quarterfinals.
 
McGhee finished 3-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McGhee defeated Cheryl McBain (Ottawa, ON) 7-3, then won 8-4 against Courtney Hodgson (Guelph, ON) and 11-2 against Kelly Cochrane (Toronto, ON). McGhee went on to lose 7-6 against Horgan in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Guelph Womens Cashspiel Championship title, McGhee earned 5.250 world rankings points along with the $2,500CDN first prize cheque. For week 13 of the event schedule, McGhee did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. McGhee ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
