Reid finished 3-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Reid defeated Janet McGhee (Uxbridge, ON) 7-3, then won 7-6 against Kirsten Wall (Toronto, ON). Reid went on to lose 8-3 against Birt. Reid lost 6-2 to Julie Reddick (Toronto, ON) where Reid responded with a 8-7 win over Marika Bakewell (London, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
Reid earned 5.800 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Southwestern Ontario Womens Charity Cashspiel. For week 9 of the event schedule, Reid did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Reid ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
