Hanna finished 3-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hanna defeated Erin Butler (Ottawa, ON) 6-4, then won 6-2 against Stacie Devereaux (St. John's, NL) and 5-4 against Cathy Auld (Mississauga, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
