Kelly Scott (Kelowna, BC) finished 1-3 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Scott lost 7-6 to Allison Pottinger (St. Paul, MN), then responded with a 6-3 win over Chrissy Cadorin (Hamilton, ON). Scott went on to lose 5-2 against Robyn Silvernagle (Meadow Lake, SK). Scott lost 7-5 to Laura Crocker (Waterloo, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
