Kevin Koe (Edmonton, AB) qualified for the 2011 Sun Life Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-3 against Mike McEwen (Winnipeg, MB). of the 2011 Sun Life Classic in Brantford, Ontario;
 
Koe finished 5-2 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Koe lost 11-8 to Heath McCormick (New York, NY), then responded with a 7-0 win over Braeden Moskowy (Regina, SK). Koe won 7-4 against Mark Kean (Toronto, ON), then won 9-3 against Tyler George (Duluth, MN) and 8-2 against Switzerland's Peter De Cruz. Koe went on to lose 4-2 against Glenn Howard (Coldwater, ON). Koe responded with a 5-2 win over Brad Jacobs (Sault Ste. Marie, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Koe earned 15.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Sun Life Classic, remaining in 5th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 256.515 total points. Koe ranks 4th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 98.600 points earned so far this season.
