Heather Marshall (Barrie, ON) lost 8-3 to Susan McKnight (Uxbridge, ON) in the Final of the Barrie Sleeman Cash Spiel, held October 15 - 16, 2011 at the Barrie Curling Club in Barrie, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Marshall won 11-1 over Vicki Marianchuk (Toronto, ON) in the semifinals

Marshall finished 2-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Marshall defeated Shawnessy Johnson (Newmarket, ON) 10-7, then won 6-4 against Heather Carr Olmstead (Toronto, ON). Marshall went on to lose 8-1 against McKnight in their final qualifying round match.

. For week of the event schedule, Marshall did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Marshall ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
