Greg Jorgensen (Detroit, MI) qualified for the 2011 Fort Wayne Summer Cash playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-0 against Stephen Dropkin (Wayland, MA). of the 2011 Fort Wayne Summer Cash in Fort Wayne, Indiana;

Jorgensen finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jorgensen defeated Alexandra Carlson (St. Paul, MN) 5-4, then went on to lose 10-1 against Craig Brown (Madison, WI). Jorgensen responded with a 7-5 win over Matt Holtwick (Cleveland, OH). Jorgensen won 5-1 against Gerry Geurts (London, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

Jorgensen earned 1.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Fort Wayne Summer Cash.
