Bernard Reaches 2011 Victoria Curling Classic Invitational Semifinals

Cheryl Bernard (Calgary, AB) run at the 2011 Victoria Curling Classic Invitational came to an end in the semifinals with a 10-4 loss to Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, MB).

Bernard finished 2-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bernard defeated British Columbia's Marla Mallett 7-2, then went on to lose 9-2 against Shannon Kleibrink (Calgary, AB). Bernard responded with a 7-3 win over Kelley Law (Richmond, BC) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Victoria Curling Classic Invitational Championship title, Bernard earned 0.000 world rankings points along with the $2,500CDN first prize cheque. For week of the event schedule, Bernard did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
