Pozihun finished 3-2 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Pozihun defeated
Derrick Casper (Green Bay, WI) 5-4, then went on to lose
8-2 against
Alexandra Agre (St. Paul, MN). Pozihun responded with a
6-4 win over
John Shuster (Duluth, MN). Pozihun won
5-4 against
Geoff Goodland (St. Paul, MN). Pozihun went on to lose
6-2 against
Gerry Geurts (London, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the St. Paul Cash Spiel Championship title, Pozihun earned
