Edin went on to lose 8-5 against Thomas Ulsrud (Oslo, NOR). Edin responded with a 8-7 win over Germany's Andy Kapp. Edin won 9-3 against Denmark's Tommy Stjerne. Edin went on to lose 10-6 against Jeff Stoughton (Winnipeg, CAN). Edin lost 6-5 to Czech Republic's Jiri Snitil where Edin responded with a 8-4 win over Korea's Dong-Keun Lee. Edin won 7-4 against Switzerland's Christof Schwaller in their final qualifying round match.
 
Edin earned 25.000 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Ford World Mens Curling Championship, remaining in 8th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 20 after improving upon their best so far this season.
