Brewster finished 8-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Brewster lost 7-5 to Reid, then responded with a 9-4 win over Graham Shaw (Perth, SCO). Brewster won 6-5 against David Murdoch (Lockerbie, SCO), then won 6-3 against Frazer Hare (Stranraer, SCO) and 7-1 against Graeme Black (Lockerbie, SCO). Brewster won 6-5 against Hammy McMillan (Stranraer, SCO), then won 5-4 against Logan Gray (Stirling, SCO) and 6-4 against Lee McCleary (Kinross, SCO). Brewster won 3-1 against Duncan Fernie (Perth, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Bruadar Scottish Mens Championship title, Brewster earned 6.400 world rankings points, moving up 9 spots the World Ranking Standings into 46th place overall with 49.435 total points. Brewster ranks 40th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 36.890 points earned so far this season.
