Brewster won 6-5 against Hammy McMillan (Stranraer, SCO), then won 5-4 against Logan Gray (Stirling, SCO) and 6-4 against Lee McCleary (Kinross, SCO). Brewster won 3-1 against Duncan Fernie (Perth, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Bruadar Scottish Mens Championship title, Brewster earned 6.400 world rankings points, moving up 9 spots the World Ranking Standings into 46th place overall with 49.435 total points.
