Kelly Scott (Kelowna, BC) needed a tiebreaker to advance to the playoffs, Scott finished 7-4 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Scott defeated
Stacie Devereaux (St. John's, NL) 7-2, then won 6-4 against Cathy Overton-Clapham (Winnipeg, MB). Scott went on to lose 7-6 against Shannon Kleibrink (Calgary, AB). Scott lost 12-6 to Heather Smith-Dacey (Halifax, NS). Scott lost 6-5 to Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON). Scott lost 10-2 to Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, CAN) where Scott responded with a 7-5 win over Marie-France Larouche (Levis, PQ). Scott won 4-3 against Suzanne Birt (Charlottetown, PEI), then won 7-2 against Kerry Galusha (Yellowknife, Y/NWT) and 6-4 against Andrea Kelly (Oromocto, NB). Scott won 8-5 against Amber Holland (Kronau, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Scott earned 14.000 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 7th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 226.610 total points. Scott ranks 14th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 69.730 points earned so far this season.
