Larouche responded with a 10-6 win over Stacie Devereaux (St. John's, NL). Larouche went on to lose 7-5 against Kelly Scott (Kelowna, BC). Larouche lost 9-4 to Shannon Kleibrink (Calgary, AB). Larouche lost 8-5 to Andrea Kelly (Oromocto, NB) where Larouche responded with a 10-8 win over Kerry Galusha (Yellowknife, Y/NWT). Larouche went on to lose 5-4 against Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Larouche earned 8.000 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins.
