Jones went on to lose 8-5 against Cathy Overton-Clapham (Winnipeg, MB). Jones responded with a 9-4 win over Heather Smith-Dacey (Halifax, NS). Jones won 8-5 against Shannon Kleibrink (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts, Jones take home 30.000 world rankings points, remaining in 1st place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 23.55 after improving upon their best so far this season.
