Manitoba's Michelle Montford finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Manitoba's Michelle Montford defeated Manitoba's Tara Braun 8-4, then won 8-4 against Kerri Einarson (Winnipeg, MB) and 4-3 against Lisa DeRiviere (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
