Chelsea Carey (Winnipeg, MB) qualified for the 2010 Schmirler Curling Classic presented by Bank of America playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-4 against Amber Holland (Kronau, SK).

Carey finished 4-1 in the 30-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Carey lost 4-3 to Lisa Eyamie (Calgary, AB), then responded with a 7-3 win over Saskatchewan's Brett Barber. Carey won 5-4 against Liudmilla Privivkova (Moskov, RUS), then won 8-0 against Robyn Silvernagle (Meadow Lake, SK) and 8-4 against Stefanie Lawton (Saskatoon, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

Carey earned 15.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Schmirler Curling Classic presented by Bank of America, moving up 7 spots the World Ranking Standings into 17th place overall with 61.488 total points. Carey ranks 3rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 29.840 points earned so far this season.
