Thomas went on to lose 5-2 against Braeden Moskowy (Regina, SK). Thomas responded with a 10-4 win over Colin Miller (Yellowknife, NT). Thomas won 8-2 against Cody Johnston (Thunde Bay, NONT) in their final qualifying round match.

Thomas earned 4.000 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the M&M Meat Shops Canadian Junior Men. For week 22 of the event schedule, Thomas did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
