Brock Virtue (Calgary, AB) lost 6-2 to Glenn Howard (Coldwater, ON) in the Final of the Victoria Curling Classic Invitational, held March 31 - April 3, 2011 in Victoria, British Columbia. To advance to the championship game, Virtue won 7-6 over Kevin Martin (Edmonton, AB) in the semifinals of the 2011 Victoria Curling Classic Invitational in Victoria, British Columbia; and won 6-4 over Kevin Koe (Edmonton, AB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2011 Victoria Curling Classic Invitational in Victoria, British Columbia;
 
Virtue finished 3-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Virtue lost 5-4 to Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL), then responded with a 8-3 win over Braeden Moskowy (Regina, SK). Virtue won 7-2 against Sean Geall (New Westminster, BC), then won 7-3 against Mike McEwen (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Victoria Curling Classic Invitational, Virtue take home 16.100 world rankings points along with the $13,000CDN prize, moving up 17 spots the World Ranking Standings into 37th place overall with 61.534 total points. Virtue ranks 22nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 56.280 points earned so far this season.
