Neil Dangerfield (Victoria, BC) qualified for the 2011 Victoria Curling Classic Invitational playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-3 against Kevin Martin (Edmonton, AB).
 
Dangerfield finished 3-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dangerfield lost 8-2 to Glenn Howard (Coldwater, ON), droppimg another game, 8-2 to Jason Montgomery (Duncan, BC) where Dangerfield responded with a 8-1 win over Rick McKague (Edmonton, AB). Dangerfield won 6-4 against John Epping (Toronto, ON), then won 7-5 against Mike McEwen (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Dangerfield earned 9.660 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Victoria Curling Classic Invitational. For week 30 of the event schedule, Dangerfield did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Dangerfield ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
