Menard Runner-Up at 2011 Quebec Tankard

Menard won 8-3 against Frederic Lawton (Baie d'Urfe, PQ), then won 10-2 against Michel Briand (Longue Pointe, PQ) and 6-1 against Jean-Sébastien Roy (Levis, PQ). Menard won 7-6 against Serge Reid (Saguenay, PQ), then won 8-7 against Yannick Martel (Kenogami, PQ). Menard went on to lose 8-4 against Gagne. Menard responded with a 9-5 win over Martin Ferland (Levis, PQ) in their final qualifying round match.
