British Columbia's Brent Yamada qualified for the 2010 Labatt Crown of Curling playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-3 against Greg McAulay (Richmond, BC). of the 2010 Labatt Crown of Curling in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada;
 
British Columbia's Brent Yamada finished 3-2 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, British Columbia's Brent Yamada lost 6-5 to British Columbia's Ron Leech, droppimg another game, 5-4 to Dean Ross (Calgary, AB) where British Columbia's Brent Yamada responded with a 9-0 win over Kevin Ihlen (Kamloops, BC). British Columbia's Brent Yamada won 8-3 against Grant Olsen (Kamloops, BC), then won 6-0 against Tyrel Griffith (Vernon, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
