Brendan Taylor (Brandon, MB) qualified for the 2010 Whites Drug Store Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-3 against Kevin Martin (Edmonton, AB). of the 2010 Whites Drug Store Classic in Swan River, Manitoba, Canada;
 
Taylor finished 5-2 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Taylor defeated Tyler Kushniryk (Swan River, MB) 9-2, then went on to lose 6-2 against Vic Peters (Winnipeg, MB). Taylor responded with a 7-0 win over Jerod Roland (Minot, ND). Taylor won 9-4 against Pat Simmons (Davidson, SK). Taylor went on to lose 9-5 against Rob Fowler (Brandon, MB). Taylor responded with a 6-4 win over David Kraichy (Winnipeg, MB). Taylor won 5-1 against Brent Scales (Swan River, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Taylor earned 8.640 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Whites Drug Store Classic. For week 10 of the event schedule, Taylor did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Taylor ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
