Simmons Reaches 2010 Whites Drug Store Classic Semifinals

									Pat Simmons (Davidson, SK) run at the 2010 Whites Drug Store Classic came to an end in the semifinals with a 6-3 loss to Darrell McKee (Saskatoon, SK).  of the 2010 Whites Drug Store Classic in Swan River, Manitoba, Canada; Simmons advanced through the quarterfinals with a 6-3 win over Randy Bryden (Regina, SK).  
 
Simmons finished 4-2 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Simmons defeated David Kraichy (Winnipeg, MB) 7-1, then went on to lose 8-2 against Bryden. Simmons lost 9-4 to Brendan Taylor (Brandon, MB) where Simmons responded with a 7-2 win over Neal Watkins (Swan River, MB). Simmons won 5-2 against David Bohn (Winnipeg, MB), then won 7-1 against Switzerland's Claudio Pescia in their final qualifying round match.
 
Simmons earned 11.520 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Whites Drug Store Classic, remaining in 12th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 129.537 total points. Simmons ranks 5th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 77.370 points earned so far this season.
