Pat Simmons (Davidson, SK) run at the 2010 Horizon Laser Vision Center Classic came to an end in the semifinals with a 5-3 loss to Carl deConinck Smith (Rosetown, SK). of the 2010 Horizon Laser Vision Center Classic in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada; Simmons advanced through the quarterfinals with a 6-4 win over Jeff Tait (Regina, SK).

Simmons finished 5-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Simmons defeated Mark Herbert (Moose Jaw, SK) 6-5, then won 6-3 against Kelly Marnoch (Carberry, MB) and 7-2 against David Haines (Regina, SK). Simmons won 6-2 against Darren Engel (Regina, SK), then won 12-0 against Brad Law (Regina, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

Simmons earned 4.000 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Horizon Laser Vision Center Classic, dropping 1 spots on the World Ranking Standings into 22nd place overall with 62.857 total points. Simmons ranks 38th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 10.690 points earned so far this season.
