To advance to the championship game, Menard won 7-0 over Ian Fitzner-Leblanc (Halifax, NS) in the semifinals of the 2009 Challenge Casino de Charlevoix in Clermont, Quebec; and won 7-3 over Shawn Adams (Bridgewater, NS) in the quarterfinals. of the 2009 Challenge Casino de Charlevoix in Clermont, Quebec;
 
Menard finished 3-0 in the 29-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Menard defeated Fitzner-Leblanc 5-3, then won 7-5 against Simon Dupuis (Thurso, QC) and 7-2 against Daniel Bedard (Lacolle, QC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Challenge Casino de Charlevoix, Menard take home 13.900 world rankings points along with the $7,000CDN prize. For week of the event schedule, Menard did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Menard ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
