Bryden finished 4-2 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bryden defeated Murray Woodward (Ste. Anne, MB) 10-3, then won 6-4 against Allan Lyburn (Brandon, MB). Bryden went on to lose 5-3 against William Lyburn (Brandon, MB). Bryden lost 5-3 to Brent Scales (Swan River, MB) where Bryden responded with a 7-3 win over Greg Todoruk (Dauphin, MB). Bryden won 5-4 against Lyburn in their final qualifying round match.
 
Bryden earned 5.370 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Whites Drug Store Classic. For week of the event schedule, Bryden did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Bryden ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
