Dale Curtis (Brampton, ON) qualified for the 2009 Brampton Curling Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-4 against Stacey Rodwell (Hamilton, ON).

Curtis finished 3-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Curtis defeated Heather Carr Olmstead (Toronto, ON) 7-2, then won 10-4 against Ann Pearson (Oakville, ON) and 11-1 against Caitlin Keon (Richmond Hill, ON). Curtis went on to lose 5-4 against Kristy Russell (Orangeville, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

Curtis earned 4.350 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Brampton Curling Classic. For week of the event schedule, Curtis did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Curtis ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
