Stacey Rodwell (Hamilton, ON) run at the 2009 Brampton Curling Classic came to an end in the semifinals with a 7-5 loss to Cathy Auld (Toronto, ON). of the 2009 Brampton Curling Classic in Brampton, Ontario, Canada; Rodwell advanced through the quarterfinals with a 7-4 win over Dale Curtis (Brampton, ON).

Rodwell finished 2-2 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Rodwell defeated Carol Jackson (Guelph, ON) 8-3, then won 8-6 against Anne Dunn (Cambridge, ON). Rodwell went on to lose 5-4 against Jan Carwardine (Toronto, ON). Rodwell lost 6-1 to Mary-Anne Arsenault (Halifax, NS) in their final qualifying round match.

Rodwell earned 5.800 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Brampton Curling Classic. For week of the event schedule, Rodwell did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Rodwell ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
