DeJong went on to lose 8-1 against Alberta's June Campbell. DeJong responded with a 6-4 win over Kirsten Fox (New Westminster, BC) in their final qualifying round match.

DeJong earned 6.600 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Meyers Norris Penny Charity Classic.
