Marla Mallett (Vancouver, BC) finished 2-3 in the 30-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Mallett lost 8-5 to 59183, then responded with a 7-6 win over Holly Scott (Winnipeg, MB). Mallett went on to lose 8-4 against Stefanie Lawton (Saskatoon, SK). Mallett lost 6-2 to Cathy King (Edmonton, AB) where Mallett responded with a 8-3 win over Brooklyn Lemon (Regina, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

. For week of the event schedule, Mallett did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Mallett ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
