Rankin won 6-5 against Stephanie McVicar (Saskatoon, SK). Rankin went on to lose 8-7 against Sherry Middaugh (Coldwater, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
Rankin earned 15.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Bank of America Schmirler Curling Classic. For week of the event schedule, Rankin did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
