Valerie Sweeting (Edmonton, AB) qualified for the 2010 Grey Power Players' Championship playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-0 against Stefanie Lawton (Saskatoon, SK). of the 2010 Grey Power Players' Championship in Dawson Creek, British Columbia;
 
Sweeting finished 3-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sweeting lost 6-5 to Shannon Kleibrink (Calgary, AB), then responded with a 7-4 win over Kerri Einarson (Winnipeg, MB). Sweeting won 7-6 against Jo-Ann Rizzo (Brantford, ON), then won 8-6 against Heather Nedohin (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Sweeting earned 20.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Grey Power Players' Championship.
