Michele Jaeggi (Bern, SUI) 7-3, then won 10-6 against Switzerland's Manuela Kormann. Scotland's Eve Muirhead went on to lose 6-3 against Sweden's Anette Norberg. Scotland's Eve Muirhead lost 6-1 to Edith Loudon (Perth, SCO) where Scotland's Eve Muirhead responded with a 7-6 win over Switzerland's Manuela Kormann. Scotland's Eve Muirhead won 8-5 against Jaeggi in their final qualifying round match.
