McCarville finished 3-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McCarville lost 7-6 to Shannon Kleibrink (Calgary, AB), then responded with a 9-2 win over Cathy King (Edmonton, AB). McCarville won 5-2 against Renee Sonnenberg (Calgary, AB), then won 5-4 against Sherry Middaugh (Coldwater, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

McCarville earned 20.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Grey Power Players' Championship.
