Sonnenberg went on to lose 5-2 against Krista McCarville (Thunder Bay, ON). Sonnenberg responded with a 6-5 win over Marla Mallett (Vancouver, BC). Sonnenberg won 7-5 against Michelle Englot (Regina, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
