Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, MB) won 9-7 over Shannon Kleibrink (Calgary, AB) in the Final of the Grey Power Players' Championship, held April 14 - 19, 2009 in Grande Prairie, Alberta. To advance to the championship game, Jones won 8-4 over Cheryl Bernard (Calgary, AB) in the semifinals of the 2009 Grey Power Players' Championship in Grande Prairie, Alberta; and won 9-2 over Sherry Middaugh (Coldwater, ON) in the quarterfinals. of the 2009 Grey Power Players' Championship in Grande Prairie, Alberta;
 
Jones finished 3-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jones defeated Renee Sonnenberg (Calgary, AB) 7-6, then won 7-4 against Stefanie Lawton (Saskatoon, SK). Jones went on to lose 10-4 against Kleibrink. Jones responded with a 6-5 win over Crystal Webster (Grande Prairie, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Grey Power Players' Championship Championship title, Jones earned 40.000 world rankings points along with the $25,000CDN first prize cheque. For week of the event schedule, Jones did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Jones ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
