Ursel went on to lose 7-0 against Ferbey. Ursel responded with a 6-3 win over Dan Petryk (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Ursel earned 14.250 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the PriceWaterhouseCoopers Westcoast Curling Classic.
